- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can concentrated tomato soup
- 1 can green beans
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- mashed potatoes (we make our own using 4-5 medium potatoes, you could also use about 3 cups instant potatoes)
- grated cheddar cheese
Brown and drain ground beef. Add tomato soup (do not add water), green beans and onions, mix together in frying pan and cook on low heat until heated through. *we usually just turn the burner on low and let it warm up while we make the mashed potatoes*
Pour ground beef mixture into a large bowl or casserole dish. Cover with mashed potatoes. Sprinkle grated cheese on top while the potatoes are still warm so that the cheese melts.
