Strawberry Spinach Salad

This is one of my favorite recipes, its simple and always a huge hit at potlucks.

Strawberry
Spinach Salad
4 cups fresh spinach
1 cup fresh strawberries
Dressing:
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon minced dehydrated onion
1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons poppy seeds

Wash and trim spinach. Wash, hull, and slice fresh strawberries. Combine and refrigerate

Combine sugar, cider vinegar, minced onion and worcestershire sauce to blender container (*I just put mine in a bottle and shake it up, works just as good*) Process for 30 seconds. Add oil, blending an additional 30 seconds. Stir in poppy seeds. Refrigerate. Pour over spinach and strawberry salad just before serving
yield: 4-6 servings
